A complete cleaning/prep and re-painting of all painted surfaces in the student rooms and bathrooms of Blount Hall - All painted surfaces- including the ceilings- walls- doors frames and trim are included in this project. HVAC units in rooms are excluded - The contractor is responsible for the moving and for protective covers for all furnishings - All surfaces included in this specification are to be thoroughly cleaned/prepared prior to the application of new paint - All cracks- and ceiling and wall damage is to be repaired prior to painting - All caulked joints are to be re-caulked or loose caulking completing removed and renewed prior to the completion of this project - The contractor is to use all paint colors for the ceiling- walls and trim which is presently used by the university to maintain our facilities - The contractor is responsible to completely clean all areas of any debris or paint remnants prior to the final inspection. All furnishing are to be restored to their original positions prior to the final inspection - All painted areas shall be clean/free of all nail/screws and other fastener- adhesives/tapes etc. prior to painting<<
